LOCAL SUMMARY:
The Bloom Carroll Boys Golf team again hosted one of the largest events in team history with a field of 23 teams at the Bloom Carroll Invitational at Pine Hill Golf Course. Weather conditions were perfect but the course course proved to be tricky for most of the field. Joe Luckhaupt once again led the Bulldogs in scoring with a solid round of 84. Monty Lobb threw in an 86 for his best round of the season thus far. Kaden Russell and Travis Hall rounded out the scoring with 91s. Overall the Bulldogs finished with a team score of 352, good enough for a 10th place finish in a massive field.
Bexley won the event with a team score of 327. Ayden Gillilan of Teays Valley shot a one over par 72 to take home medalist honors.
Next up for the varsity team is the Logan Elm Invitational on Tuesday 8/13.
