LOCAL SUMMARY:

The Bloom Carroll Boys Golf Team opened its season at the prestigious Columbus Country Club against some stiff competition in the CA Shootout hosted by the defending D2 State Champions, Columbus Academy. Unfortunately the event was shortened due to lighting to just seven holes and scores were calculated relative to par. 

The Bulldogs finished 11th out of 16 teams with a score of +28. Junior Joe Luckhaupt led the way with a solid score +2 through 7 holes. Also counting for the BC was Junior Kaden Russell (+7), Senior Travis Hall (+9), and Junior Monty Lobb (+10). 

Columbus Academy won the event with a team score of +3 and the Individual Medalist from NDCL fired a 2 under par. 

The next event up for the boys is MSL #1 at Crown Hill tomorrow at 9am.
