Boys Junior Varsity Football

Coach Scott Bartholomew (Coach Old Bart) has been a Varsity Assistant and Defensive Coordinator for the past 2 years.  He coaches the Linebackers and helps with the Offensive line.  Prior to coming to Bloom Carroll to coach with his son, Coach Old Bart was a Head Football coach for 24 years (8 years at Oak Hill HS, 9 years at Westfall HS and 7 years at Logan Elm HS).  Back in his early coaching days Coach Old Bart was the Head Baseball Coach at Oak Hill HS for 9 years, Head Track Coach for 1 year and a his was an Assistant Football Coach for 6 years before taken over in 1990. 

Coach Old Bart graduated from Teays Valley HS in 1980, during his time he played 4 years of football and baseball, 1 year of wrestling and 3 years of basketball.  After HS Coach Old Bart went to Wilmington College to play football where he played for 1 year.  During his time in college he also decided to play baseball and earned a varsity letter all four years.  While at Wilmington College he meet his wife Karla.

Coach Old Bart had been married for 32 years and has four children (Wade, Brooke, Raegan and Ashton) and 3 grandchildren (Ashleigh, Audi and Paxton).
