LOCAL SUMMARY:

In a rivalry rematch, the Bloom Carroll boys golf team won an exciting head to head duel vs Canal Winchester at Pine Hill. With scores of 43 from Joe Luckhaupt and Corey King as well as a 47 from Monty Lobb, the Bulldogs needed a 47 or better from the last group to tie at 180 or win the match. Junior Kaleb Davis delivered with the magic number of 47.

After tying at 180, the match goes to the 5th score. Freshmen Kaden Russell carded a 52 which was good enough to best Canal's 5th score by just 2 shots!

The terrific match was the second of the season with Canal. The Indians won a close match 171-176 at Westchester earlier in the month. 

BC and CW may meet again at the season ending Match Play Challenge at Oakhurst on 10/7.
